Why dinning in Washington D.C’s outdoor restaurants is dead

The past several months have been hard for everyone around the world because of covid-19. Businesses have closed and employees have been left scrambling to make ends meet with the help of unemployment benefits. As restrictions begin to ease another issue jeopardizes the stability of restaurants that want to survive. The protests for police reform around the United States have continued to expand to cities like San Diego and Washington D.C.

In the last several nights we have seen an increase in the attendees of these protest and while many are peaceful and truly believe the cause they are marching for. Others have taken their frustration on the patrons that are finally able to enjoy a dinner outdoors.

The future of these restaurants depends on their ability to continue to serve their customers. The chaos that these protest create only decrease the desire of customers to visit them.
